Capabilities

Altek’s 54,000 square foot facility is outfitted with an ESD tile floor and holds state-of-the-art assembly equipment including Samsung pick and place machines capable of placing up to 42,000 components per hour with an accuracy of +/-50µm.  Our newest Mirtec AOI machine features five megapixel digital color cameras and Intelli-Scan laser inspection technology.  To support through-hole production Altek utilizes semi-automatic component locating machines.  Our soldering technology includes wave solder and selective solder machines.  The Ace “KISS 104” machines allow precision soldering around heavily populated SMT and heat-sensitive components.  Altek can also support your test requirements:  we offer both functional and in-circuit test capability.  Our Teradyne TS128 LH test station uses bed-of-nail technology to electrically test all specified inputs and outputs.  Tests are accurate, reliable and electrically safe.  For more information, please click on the Capabilities tab above to access the drop-down menu listing many of our capabilities.
