Through-Hole Assembly
Altek Electronics in Torrington, CT is a world-class contract manufacturer capable of using cutting-edge technology in our PCB assembly processes. However, we also maintain the infrastructure to support mature, through hole pcb designs for customers who maintain legacy products.
Our through hole assembly equipment includes six Contact System CS-400 semi-automatic component locator machines that facilitate repeatable, process-controlled builds from 1 piece to 1000+.
Through hole soldering is processed by seasoned technicians in our state-of-the-art Connecticut facility. Altek enjoys a very low turnover rate, resulting in highly experienced soldering operators. This wealth of experience increases efficiency and quality and makes us a first-choice supplier.
Altek manufactures boards used in high cost capital equipment, so our niche is small to medium volume. Whether you need one prototype PCB, or thousands of pieces in a production run, we have the ability to meet your needs. In the decades that Altek has been prototyping circuit boards we’ve created systems to facilitate rapid set-up and job changeovers to support your quick turn requirements. For volume production runs Altek offers Kanban services to meet unexpected scheduling changes. Further, our employees are cross-trained providing a flexible workforce that can respond to changes in demand. Altek does not miss schedules!
At Altek, customers come first. We appreciate the opportunity to serve the through-hole assembly requirements of your company.
