Altek’s team works to engrain excellent quality into every facet of the organization, from quoting to shipping. Developing a culture of total quality begins with communicating a strong message, acting on those words, and monitoring progress to ensure success. Since introducing our quality initiatives in 2000, we have acted by implementing continuous flow manufacturing (CFM), certifying our quality management process to the AS9100 including all aspects of ISO 9001:2008, certifying operators to IPC industry acceptability standards for electronic assemblies and cable & harness assemblies, certifying surface mount operators to the J-STD, and achieving the UTC Quality-Plus Level 3 designation, a rating which validates Altek’s firm commitment to continuous improvement.
